I use the 100 cal round flat sandwich bread. (I buy the whole grain ones)
Lightly toast them. Lay them face up and apply pizza sauce the brand I use is 30 cal 1/4 cup. It doesn't take a 1/4 cup to coat both. Then I use turkey pepperoni 1 oz is 70 calories. ( use more or less for your taste ). I've also used the turkey sausage crumbles. Sprinkle with a pinch of garlic powder and a pinch of italian seasoning (optional).
Then I top with the 2% mozzerella cheese 2 Tbs is 30 cal.
I've also at times added chopped frozen onions and green peppers to add some variety.
So for approximately 260 cal. I can have 2 mini pizzas.
I love Pizza and eating these doesn't make me feel like I'm depriving myself of one of my favorite foods.
